Who we are
EverLink began with a regret. I never created an album of my grandfather and the only way my grandmother could see pictures of him was through physical copies scattered across different places. I always wished there was one shared home for every photo video and memory of him, something the whole family could add to but not something that lived only on a phone or got buried in group messages and old boxes.
That feeling stayed with me. When someone passes away you hear amazing stories about them. Friends cousins coworkers and people you never even met share memories that make you smile and remind you of how great that person truly was. But as time passes those stories fade. You try to remember them years later but the details blur and you wish you had saved every one.
I wanted a place where those stories could live forever. A place where everyone who came to a funeral could share a memory that would never be lost. Something families could open anytime to remind themselves of the love character and kindness their person carried through life.
My two brothers and I work at our father’s funeral home in Yadkin County North Carolina where we have seen how important it is to honor the departed with dignity and care. We have watched him guide people through the hardest moments of their lives with steady kindness and with a deep belief that every life should be honored well.
